The Zigzag Meeting

Jenny demonstrated a fast and effective method for creating a folded zigzag from a strip of fabric, all ready for appliqué with the raw edges folded in. Prediction: a lot of zigzags on the Skye horizon!

The Cat Quilt Meeting

After the interest shown in the design last week when Marion brought in one of her cat quilts as an example of continuous-line quilting, this week Marion brought in a selection and went through her cat quilt design, construction and fabric choice.

Continuous Line Quilt Design Meeting

If you’d heard about World Book Night, then you may be pleasantly surprised to know some of the free million books found their way to Skye and into the hands of Skye Quilters. Copies of The World’s Wife, by Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy.
