Fabric Chinese takeaway box

The project for Monday’s meeting, 17th October, will be a quick and easy fabric “Chinese takeaway box”. Instructions have been emailed to everyone, or you can find them on Marion’s studio blog.

Invisible Machine Appliqué Meeting

Irene Curren explained and demonstrated invisible machine appliqué using invisible cotton. One of the hardest parts seems to be threading the needle and keeping track of where the invisible cotton is!

First Weekly Meeting of 2011/12

Rain, rain, and more rain… but you can’t stop the quilting! The hexagons that Irene Owen’s been creating from old silk ties were being laid out for a ‘random’ quilt, and Ruby’s made her 110th Linus quilts, or was that 111th?
