First 2012 Skye Quilters Meeting

Our first meeting of 2012 will be on Monday 16th January (not this coming Monday, the 9th). As agreed, our meetings will be on the first and third Mondays of each month, for a full day (or only half if you wish). The dates are listed on our meetings page. Looking forward to seeing you, and wish everyone a fabulously creative 2012!

If you’re after some fresh ideas for quilts — not least for our exhibition come August — check out the 100 Days from the Modern Quilt Guild! And here’s an idea for an old pair of jeans: turn them into fabric baskets.

2011 Skye Quilters Blog in Review

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Syndey Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 15,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 6 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
