Linus Quilts

Quilts made for Project Linus are given to children as comfort blankets. Find out more about Linus quilts, and the contact details for the Highlands co-ordinator, in this Linus Quilt Leaflet. Donations of fabric and wadding for Linus Quilts are always most welcome.

Linus quilt by Irene O. You can't see it in the photo very well, but the quilting creates clouds/wind for the plane/helicopter, steam for the train, and exhaust fumes for the vehicles.

    Hello Ladies,

Janet Kernachan introduced me to your group and site–especially interesting to me because Janet entered a lovely vest in our Glendale Quilt Show (Glendale, CA USA). I am so impressed with your website and talents as quilters. In our upcoming newsletter and at our last quilt guild meeting, I introduced our group to Janet who has charmed us. What a good sport she is for when her entry to our show was missent to AUSTRALIA, she said it obviously took the scenic route!

I look forward to checking in regularly here to see what you are creating–lovely.

Very best wishes to new friends,
    Karen Millman

Congratulations on such a wonderful article in P & Q magazine. Like some of your ladies the group I attend also make quilts for charity including Project Linus. I just love the Clam Shell Owl Quilt and would like to know if a template/pattern/kit is available and where from.
Portree looks lovely and although I am Scottish (living in the middle of England!!) I have never visited that part of my own country but hope to one day.
    Thanks,
    Eileen Henderson,
